Job Summary
- Pack label and prepare frozen products for shipment in accordance with company standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from vehicles trucks and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all work areas including freezer storage dry storage and packing stations.
- Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are packed before dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely and as required.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols consistently.
- Work efficiently and safely in cold environments (typically -18C or 0F).
- Report any damaged spoiled or expired products to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in warehouse or packing operations preferred especially in cold storage or food production environments.
Physical ability to lift carry and move moderate loads safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow safety hygiene and operational procedures accurately.
Team player with a positive and reliable work attitude.
Flexibility to work in shifts or weekends if required.
