Job Summary
Main Scope
Responsible for the maintenance operation and repair of all electrical mechanical and ELV systems within the hotel. Ensures optimal performance of life safety systems BMS/GRMS and full compliance with hotel standards and authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Operations
- Supervise daily engineering shift operations
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain logs reports inventories and technical documentation
- Inspect completed works for safety and compliance
- Estimate materials manpower and project requirements
- Ensure adherence to emergency procedures and safety protocols
ELV & Life Safety Systems
- Oversee Fire Alarm Fire Fighting CBS UPS BMS and GRMS systems
- Conduct regular inspections fire pump testing and system checks
- Monitor systems and take immediate corrective action when needed
- Maintain accurate ELV documentation and compliance records
- Coordinate with approved contractors/service providers
- Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities
Compliance & Leadership
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards hotel policies and safety regulations
- Participate in risk management and sustainability initiatives
- Supervise and guide engineering team members
- Promote teamwork accountability and operational excellence
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Strong hands-on experience with ELV and life safety systems
- Knowledge of BMS GRMS Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting systems
- Good leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and engineering systems
