Job Summary
Position Overview:
As an Architect at ELE Design Services Co. L.L.C you will be responsible for leading and delivering architectural projects from concept through completion. This role is focused purely on architectural design technical development coordination and site execution. You will work across residential commercial and hospitality projects ensuring all architectural solutions meet client requirements regulatory standards and project timelines.
Main Scope of Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Project Leadership
- Lead architectural projects from concept design to detailed design authority approvals and construction stages.
- Develop architectural concepts massing studies layouts and building design strategies aligned with client briefs and project objectives.
- Ensure architectural designs are functional buildable and compliant with applicable regulations and standards.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary architectural point of contact for clients consultants and external stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain architectural concepts technical solutions and design progress.
- Incorporate client feedback into architectural designs while maintaining design integrity and feasibility.
Technical Design & Documentation
- Prepare review and coordinate architectural drawings including plans sections elevations details and schedules.
- Ensure accuracy clarity and coordination of architectural drawings with structural MEP and other engineering disciplines.
- Manage design development and construction documentation packages in accordance with project requirements.
Authority Approvals & Compliance
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building codes authority regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate submissions and responses for authority approvals as required.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of UAE building regulations and approval processes.
Consultant & Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate with external consultants including structural MEP façade and specialist consultants.
- Review consultant drawings and reports to ensure alignment with architectural intent.
- Respond to technical queries RFIs and design coordination issues during design and construction phases.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor architectural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve site-related architectural issues in coordination with contractors and consultants.
- Support the project team during construction to maintain architectural quality and design intent.
Project Planning & Reporting
- Assist in developing and managing architectural design schedules and deliverables.
- Monitor progress against agreed timelines and report any risks or delays.
- Maintain organized architectural project records drawings approvals and correspondence.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure smooth architectural project delivery.
- Provide guidance and technical support other staff when required.
Professional Development & Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on architectural trends materials construction methods and industry best practices.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings site visits and industry-related engagements when required.
Requirements
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
- Experience: Proven experience in architectural design and delivery of residential commercial and/or hospitality projects.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in ArchiCAD AutoCAD and other architectural design and documentation tools. Familiarity with 3D modelling software is an advantage.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local building codes authority requirements and approval processes.
- Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical coordination and client interaction.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for project-related meetings and site visits as required.
