Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site workers and subcontractors.
Interpret construction drawings blueprints and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on the site.
Plan and assign tasks based on project timelines and workforce availability.
Monitor the use of materials and equipment to avoid wastage.
Inspect work progress and resolve any construction or personnel issues.
Maintain daily reports on labor progress and incidents.
Coordinate with site engineers project managers and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely execution of civil tasks including excavation concreting shuttering and finishing works.
Implement corrective measures when construction deviations are identified.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering (or relevant field).
Proven experience as a Civil Foreman (4 years).
Knowledge of construction procedures equipment and OSH guidelines.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings schedules and BOQs.
Experience in managing labor teams and subcontractors.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Proficient in reporting and documentation
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Familiarity with site safety protocols and regulations
