Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications
- Ensure consistent food quality taste and presentation
- Prepare ingredients including chopping marinating and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and cooking equipment
- Assist in inventory management stock rotation and ordering supplies
- Follow food safety hygiene and HACCP standards
- Support training and guidance of junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant Chef Commis Chef or Kitchen Cook
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques cooking methods and kitchen safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary or hospitality certification
- Experience in hotels restaurants or catering services in Dubai
- Passion for food presentation and menu execution
