B. Job Summary: The Construcon Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily on-site technical execuon of the project. They are responsible for planning coordinang and supervising all construcon acvies to meet project objecves including quality budget safety and mely compleon. This posion requires close collaboraon with Project Engineers Foremen and the Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) teams to ensure compliance with project specicaons and standards.
C. Dues & Responsibilies: 1. Project Organization and Site Execution:
Oversee the complete execution of the project working full-time on-site. Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between the employer project stakeholders and
management. Develop a construction plan that aligns with project objectives and deliverables. Ensure all site activities are conducted per design specifications and construction drawings.
2. Risk and Budget Management: Identify and manage potential risks to maintain smooth project progression. Develop and monitor adherence to the project budget ensuring cost control measures are in place. Focus on achieving key project objectives including delivery timelines quality standards HSE compliance
and cost efficiency.
3. Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) Compliance: Lead the on-site implementation of quality and safety plans supported by dedicated QHSE personnel. Supervise and approve quality plans HSE plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Ensure compliance with all contractual company and local authority quality health safety and
environmental requirements. Act as a focal point for all quality and HSE matters in liaison with the Site Manager Site Engineers and
QHSE personnel.
4. Documentation and Compliance Approvals Ensure timely submission review and approval of all necessary documentation including permanent
material submissions shop drawings and subcontractor approvals. Prepare and submit detailed method statements risk assessments and job hazard analyses for approval. Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and other quality-related documentation.
5. Coordination with Project Teams and Stakeholders
Regularly interact with QA/QC HSE independent testing labs and subcontractors to ensure project standards are maintained.

Ensure all necessary permits are in place for site activities with adherence to all safety precautions. Communicate and report project progress risks and issues to the Project Managers Project Director and
upper management.
6. Training and Development:
Ensure team members receive adequate training on relevant procedures and specialized applications. Approve daily time sheets for personnel and equipment including hired staff and rented equipment. Provide on-site training to ensure that all personnel are fully equipped to follow safety and quality
standards.
7. Material and Resource Management:
Oversee the requisitioning of materials and equipment ensuring timely procurement in required quantities.
Verify the quality of received materials coordinating with the designated storekeeper for acceptance and storage.
8. Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions
Address and resolve any non-conformances by implementing corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with the QA/QC and HSE departments to close non-conformance issues promptly.
9. Project Close-Out and Handover
Lead the completion of all punch list items and ensure all outstanding issues are resolved. Prepare and finalize all handover documentation maintaining accurate as-built records throughout
construction. Ensure that as-built conditions are accurately reflected on project drawings as work progresses.
10. Special Assignments:
Carry out additional tasks or special assignments as delegated by management supporting broader project and organizational goals.
11. HSE Compliance with Health Safety and Environment Policies and applicable procedures
A. Qualicaons & Cercaons Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management Civil Engineering or a related field.
Cercaon: Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP CCM) are a plus.

B. Job Specic Skills: Leads all construction activities related to the arc-type culvert bridge including cofferdam installation dewatering foundation preparation and precast segment installation. Manages the end-to-end delivery of the scope from enabling works to final connection with adjacent marine or civil packages.
Design & Technical Coordination: Acts as the key interface with the Technical Office for reviewing and finalizing shop drawings temporary works design rebar detailing waterproofing and segment layout. Ensures constructability reviews are completed and integrated into planning and procurement timelines. Coordinates technical submittals with the consultant/client.
Subcontractor Coordination –: Manages daily coordination with the specialist subcontractor for segment erection lifting and connection works. Ensures their construction methods are aligned with project specifications and sequence logic. Reviews RAMS segment stability grouting procedures and tolerances.
Cofferdam and Dewatering Works: Oversees the planning and safe execution of cofferdam systems including sheet piling walers internal braces and water control. Coordinates dewatering design reviews pump setups contingency planning and interfaces with environmental and marine teams.
Client/Consultant Interface: Serves as the main point of contact during construction of the culvert structure. Leads site meetings walkthroughs method statement presentations and issue resolution with client engineers and consultants. Ensures timely inspection scheduling and approval of key milestones.
Precast Yard Oversight: Supervises the precast yard operations producing arch segments and other structural units. Verifies quality curing storage and lifting readiness. Monitors segment production versus site installation needs and coordinates safe transport and lifting on-site.
Interface & Sequencing Management: Coordinates the culvert scope with marine civil and backfilling works to avoid access conflicts or schedule slippage. Ensures all temporary works such as scaffolding access ramps and lifting bays are integrated into the master plan.
QA/QC & Documentation Oversight: Reviews and approves ITPs method statements and QA submissions for all critical items including concrete class waterproofing dowel placements and segment installation. Ensures as-built data inspection records and close-out documentation are maintained throughout.
HSE & High-Risk Activity Control: Enforces HSE compliance during confined space activities heavy lifting welding and waterlogged environments. Oversees toolbox talks lifting plans and rescue preparedness for the entire culvert and dewatering work zone.
C. Experience: Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in heavy civil or marine construction with proven leadership in structural works involving precast bridge systems culverts or marine interfaces.

At least 5 years of experience coordinating complex structural scopes involving dewatering cofferdams and precast erection preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
Demonstrated experience managing arc-type culverts or precast bridge structures including coordination with international specialist subcontractors (e.g. VSL BEBO). Capable of managing full cycle from enabling works through to handover.
Strong technical background in temporary works sheet piling dewatering systems and segmental construction with the ability to review and approve construction methodologies. Experienced in design coordination and shop drawing validation with the Technical Office including lifting plans reinforcement detailing and interface resolution.
Experienced in overseeing precast yard operations segment logistics quality control and site delivery to match installation sequencing. Proven ability to lead technical discussions and inspections with consultants and client engineers ensuring construction intent is aligned with project requirements and approvals are secured timely.
