Job Summary
Ontime Healthcare is actively seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cost Estimator specializing in the Fitout Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for a variety of fitout projects ensuring accuracy and competitiveness to help drive project success.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications drawings and scope of work to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- Research and determine the costs of materials labor and equipment involved in projects
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and design teams to gather relevant project information
- Maintain and update a cost database to provide benchmarks for future estimates
- Assist in the bid preparation process and complete tender submissions
- Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client requirements
- Provide ongoing support in the monitoring and controlling of project financials
- Prepare reports and presentations on cost estimates and potential savings for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cost Estimator in the fitout industry preferably in the UAE
- Strong understanding of construction and fitout processes materials and pricing structures
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and market conditions
