Job Summary
Job Description
Fugro is expanding its team to meet a surge in Q4 project demands. We are looking for a skilled GIS Specialist with strong proficiency in GIS and AutoCAD to support high-volume data deliverables. Within this role they will collaborate with project managers and the data delivery coordinator on spatial analysis mapping digitization and quality control.
A successful candidate will possess cartographic skills and have an ability to create Land Survey Drawings alignment sheets and be able to maintain GIS databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage GIS applications in alignment with business and project requirements.
- Maintain and develop web-based GIS platforms and associated hardware.
- Compile process and present data deliverables using GIS and CAD software.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on incoming data and final deliverables.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all project-related data acquisition and delivery.
- Maintenance and archiving of GIS data.
Qualifications/Skills/ experience required
- Extensive experience required in AutoCAD and ArcMap applications.
- Experience in data processing for land and topographical surveys.
- Experience in data processing techniques e.g. Leica LGO CADD packages and familiarity with routines to transform between the two data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 3 years GIS experience ideally related to Oil & Gas.
- Very good English language.
