Job Summary
Ontime Group is in search of a qualified Accountant with audit experience to strengthen our financial team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards all while supporting our commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable receivable and payroll functions
- Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate financial controls and compliance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring they adhere to regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with external auditors during the year-end audit process
- Review and implement effective accounting policies and procedures
- Monitor and identify trends in financial data to support management decision-making
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for various departments
- Provide financial guidance and support as needed to various teams within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 3 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on audit functions
- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g. ERP systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements is preferred
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA ACCA) is a plus
