Mixologist- (Flying Elephant)

Join our team at Flying Elephant in Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha as we seek a talented and creative Mixologist to craft exceptional cocktails and provide an unforgettable experience for our guests. As a key member of our bar team youll be responsible for creating innovative drinks maintaining the highest standards of service and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

• Develop and prepare unique high-quality cocktails using a variety of spirits mixers and fresh ingredients
• Create seasonal drink menus and specialty cocktails to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
• Provide exceptional customer service engaging with guests and making personalized drink recommendations
• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create complementary food and drink pairings
• Train and mentor junior bar staff on mixology techniques and customer service
• Manage inventory place orders and control costs while maintaining quality
• Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in the mixology industry and implement new ideas

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end establishment
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails spirits wines and beer
• Proven ability to create unique and innovative drink recipes
• Strong understanding of flavor profiles and drink pairings
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using bar equipment and POS systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bartending or mixology certification preferred
• Food safety and hygiene certification required
• Familiarity with current trends in the mixology industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
