Apt Resources is seeking a Director of Sales and Distribution for our client a luxury hospitality organization operating in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead commercial strategy across corporate sales and distribution channels driving sustained revenue growth and market positioning.
Role Overview
The Director of Sales and Distribution will be responsible for overseeing corporate sales performance optimizing distribution channels and managing key partnerships across the UAE and GCC markets. This role requires strong leadership commercial acumen and deep knowledge of luxury hospitality sales and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the overall sales and distribution strategy to achieve revenue targets
Manage corporate sales multinational accounts TMCs and global travel partnerships
Oversee distribution channels including GDS OTAs IDS and metasearch platforms
Ensure rate parity content optimization and effective channel mix management
Drive negotiation dynamic pricing strategies and RFP management for corporate accounts
Monitor market trends seasonality and competitive activity within the UAE
Ensure compliance with VAT PDPL and relevant tourism regulations
Lead coach and develop the sales team while collaborating with revenue marketing and operations teams
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in hospitality commercial roles
At least 5 years of experience in UAE 5-star luxury hotels
Proven record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets for at least 3 consecutive years
Strong corporate sales background with UAE or GCC multinational clients and TMCs
In-depth expertise in hospitality distribution channels and pricing strategies
Solid understanding of UAE market dynamics and regulatory requirements
Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
