Job Summary
A large energy organization is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to manage accounting for high-value infrastructure and IT assets. The role requires hands-on experience in fixed asset accounting within asset-intensive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and control the fixed asset register for infrastructure and IT assets.
- Capitalization depreciation impairment and asset disposals.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Support audits asset verification and reconciliation processes.
- Partner with IT procurement and engineering teams on asset tracking and valuation.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of fixed asset accounting experience ideally in oil & gas utilities or heavy industry.
- Strong exposure to IT asset accounting and large ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.).
- Professional certification (ACCA CPA CA) is a strong advantage.
