Job Description: Civil Project Manager
Job Summary
The Civil Project Manager will be responsible for planning executing and delivering civil construction projects in accordance with approved timelines budgets and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership technical expertise and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Plan manage and oversee end-to-end civil construction projects including commercial residential and infrastructure works
Develop project schedules budgets work plans and resource allocation strategies
Coordinate with consultants contractors subcontractors and site engineers to ensure smooth execution
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines cost controls and quality benchmarks
Review drawings BOQs method statements and technical specifications for compliance
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations local authority requirements and industry standards
Conduct site inspections progress meetings and coordination meetings with stakeholders
Manage variations claims and change orders effectively
Prepare and submit project reports progress updates and documentation to management
Resolve technical contractual and operational issues to minimize project delays
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / )
PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage
Minimum 710 years of experience in civil construction projects
Prior GCC/UAE project experience is strongly preferred
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods materials and project execution
Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic understanding of BIM coordination
Excellent leadership team management and coordination skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Sound understanding of contract management cost control and risk mitigation
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities
