Roles and Responsibilities
Track the overall GridBeats APM Software project deliveries and outcomes across the portfolio
Build own and continuously improve a unified framework for delivering GridBeats APM projects
Establish and run portfolio governance: cadence dashboards risk/issue management change control and executive reporting
Maintain the overall KPIs of all delivery teams and drive performance improvements across regions
Lead all delivery teams with transparency; manage delivery managers/engineers and across multi-site multi-cultural teams
Support and coach delivery teams and Delivery Managers on execution quality stakeholder management and risk mitigation
Ensure knowledge transfer (technologies GridBeats products best practices) via communities of practice playbooks and formal training
Drive workforce planning: capacity hiring onboarding career development succession and skills evolution
Oversee on-time delivery quality and scope adherence across all engagements; ensure robust design notes SOWs architecture reviews and acceptance criteria
Follow-up with delivery teams on portfolio of projects and intervene early to unblock critical paths
Participate actively in critical and strategic GridBeats Asset Management projects and executive-level escalations
Govern release management and cutovers; enforce cyber security security compliance and reliability standards in delivery (cloud on-prem and hybrid)
Oversee technical assurance for integrations data modelling and OT/IT interfaces; ensure fit-for-purpose solutioning and performance
Govern change control and Variation Orders (VOs) to expand scope responsibly and protect margin
Manage delivery and implementation cost including COPQ (cost of poor quality) and cost reduction program
Support ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) by validating delivery estimates and risk registers
Recurrent customers and collect feedback on implementations; act on Voice of Customer signals to improve product and delivery outcomes
Coordinate with Product teams and participate in roadmap feature request prioritization
Collaborate with Support (Tier 3 L3 /CoE) to improve incident response problem management and knowledge base coverage
Manage partner/channel delivery quality and alignment to standards where applicable
Define and maintain the delivery toolchain (e.g. Jira DevOps documentation reporting) and promote disciplined usage
Support internal initiatives linked to technology unification and simplification with Product and R&D teams
Drive continuous improvement (Lean/Agile/DevOps/ITIL) to reduce cycle time defects and COPQ; standardize reusable assets
Report all of the above to management through consistent data-driven dashboards and executive summaries
On-time Delivery (OTD): planned vs. achieved milestones ratio
Man-days consumption: planned vs. consumed ratio; forecast accuracy
Customer satisfaction: delivery quality and relationship health (CSAT/NPS/VoC)
Engagement: tool adherence coordination cadence teamwork indicators participation in internal/external meetings
Tech-Support KPIs (Tier 3/CoE): response time
VOs generation: value and throughput of approved change orders
COPQ: defect leakage rework escape rates and associated cost Additional KPIs (recommended)
Knowledge base coverage and time-to-onboard for new team members
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Software Engineering Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
12 years of software delivery/program/project management experience including 5 years leading teams or multi-site delivery organizations
Proven track record delivering complex enterprise software (SaaS and/or hybrid on-prem/cloud) ideally in Utilities OEM or Industrial environments
Good financial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills including executive reporting and customer-facing leadership
Fluent in English and French (speaking and writing); additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and regional locations
Asset Management / Asset Performance Management (APM) concepts; utility maintenance processes and reliability engineering practices
ERP/CMMS (e.g. SAP) integrations and data migration patterns
Linux/Kubernetes containerized deployments; cloud concepts (IaaS/PaaS) high-level data center architectures
Software deployment configuration integration and database interfaces (SQL/NoSQL) web services ETL time-series databases
Data exchange formats (JSON XML CSV) and integration protocols: REST APIs Kafka MQTT OPC UA/DA
Electrical/OT protocols: IEC-101 IEC-104 DNP3 IEC 61850 Modbus
OT systems such as SCADA/EMS and familiarity with Geographical Information Systems.
knowledge of primary grid assets (transformers bays circuit breakers GIS substations) is a strong plus
Familiarity with security and compliance practices relevant to enterprise and utility/OT environments
Desired Characteristics
Experience in OEM Utilities or Industrial sectors with international delivery exposure
Knowledge / Certifications: PMP/Prince2 Agile/SAFe ITIL; Lean/Six Sigma or Prosci Change Management a plus
Hands-on familiarity with delivery tooling (e.g. Jira Confluence Azure DevOps MS Project Smartsheet)
Demonstrated success building delivery frameworks playbooks and communities of practice
Strong problem-solving prioritization under ambiguity and resilience in matrixed organizations
Team-first mindset; inclusive leadership; ability to coach lead and senior practitioners and managers
Global/multi-region role; ability to collaborate across time zones
Travel to customers and regional teams as required (typically 2040%)
