Job Summary
Description
Role : Endpoint Security Engineer
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
- ManageandMaintainSecuritydevicesTools/ ProductsimplementedatADIBforday-to-daytasks
- RegularmonitoringofSecurityLogsandEventsforITSecuritydevicestoreviewsecurityeventsand alerts and proactively detect actual or potential attacks to ADIBnetwork
- Incident response: Respond to attack attempts & containincidents
- Follow the security hardening baselines / guidelines and generate reports asrequired
- Oncall-availabilityforcriticalalert(s)/issue(s)reportedbyADIBCommandCenterafterworking-hours weekends and public holidays and proper escalation to Manager - IT SECURITYOPERATIONS
- Ensurecompliancetopublishedpoliciesandproceduressuchas(PMOITILprocessesISO9001& 27001) by performing according to what has beendocumented
- Ensure compliance to ADIB processes (HR Legal & Sharia) related toITD
- within agreed time (with Audit andManagement
Key Accountabilities of the role
IT Security and Device Management
Manage maintain and monitor Security Devices Security Tools and Products implemented at ADIB
- SecurityconfigurationofdevicesaccordingtotheBest- Practices and vendorguidelines
- Managesecuritydeviceconfigurationchange(s)asper ADIB standard Change ManagementProcess
- Perform security devicehealth checks as per approved checklist(s)
- Updatingsecuritydeviceswithlateststablesoftwareand signaturereleases.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related toSecurity
- EnsureADIBUserPCaresecuredagainstmalwareattack confidential data loss and identity theft. Proactively monitor against any vulnerability in the system device control usage and whole disk encryption for mobilelaptops
- Perform security devicehealth checks as per approved checklist(s)
Security Events Monitoring Incident Response & Support
- Generating reports and alerts for related platforms for reviewconfigurationfinetuningandimprovementpurposes after appropriateapprovals
- Incident Response:Earliest-possible detection ofthe information securityincidents
- Incident Support:Provide Level 2 support for anysecurity incident reported by Command Center or escalate as per escalation procedures /guidelines
Global Expansion
- To fulfill the IT Security requirements forInternational expansion as conducted by ADIBManagement
Information Security
- Maintain information security related to ADIBthroughout the period ofemployment
- Assoonaspossiblereportanypotentialoractualrisksor incidents affecting the security of information to the ITD ServiceDesk
Documentation / Process Ownership
- Theincumbentisresponsibletotakeownershipmaintain& update documented processes and / or documentation related to his jobfunction
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Networking: Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
