Location: Al Barsha 2Grove Mall Dubai UAE
Responsibilities:
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform a variety of tests including hematological biochemical serological and other specialized analyses ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Verify test outcomes by reviewing patient history and prior test results to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Conduct routine quality control checks on all test systems ensuring accuracy and validity of results.
- Participate in proficiency testing programs and support the laboratory accreditation process.
- Assist the laboratory manager with additional tasks as needed.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest laboratory practices by attending educational workshops reviewing relevant publications building professional networks and participating in industry societies.
- Foster effective collaboration and communication within and between departments to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Ensure a safe clean and compliant laboratory environment by following established safety protocols including infection control and hazardous waste management.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies protecting both patient and clinic data integrity.
Understands follows and supports all hospital infection control programs
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associate degree in medical technology clinical laboratory science chemistry biology or a related field.
- Active DHA license to practice as a Clinical Medical Lab Technologist
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Highly skilled in the precise manipulation of laboratory equipment and test materials.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision.
- Capable of staying calm under pressure with strong problemsolving skills especially when working with highexpectation patients.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to present information systematically and ensure followup as required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Preferred: Experience working in CAP ISO or JCI accredited laboratories.
