Job Summary

Position: IT Manager – Abu Dhabi

mselect is looking to hire an IT Manager for an Aerospace & Defence manufacturing client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee ERP system migration, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and firewall management to ensure the company's IT systems' integrity, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and other IT equipment for optimal performance.

- Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

- Lead the migration of the current ERP system (SAP) to a new platform, including planning, data migration, system configuration, and testing.

- Manage and maintain IP phone systems, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and ongoing support for communication systems.

- Oversee the management of printers, ensuring functionality and resolving any print infrastructure issues.

- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus systems, encryption, and access controls for data protection.

- Manage CCTV and access control systems.

Requirements & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- 7-10 years of experience in ERP system migrations, especially SAP or similar enterprise systems.

- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management, including server, storage, and networking.

- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity, firewall management, and information security protocols.

- Experience with IP phone systems, MDM, CCTV systems, and access control.

- Proficiency in end-user support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining accurate IT hardware and software records.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and relevant IT management tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in ITIL, SAN, or related areas would be a plus.
