Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook / Chef to join our dynamic restaurant team in a fast-paced high-volume food service environment. This role is essential to maintaining the quality consistency and creativity of our menu offerings directly contributing to exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on culinary expertise a strong work ethic and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards. As a key member of the kitchen team you will play a vital role in food preparation recipe execution inventory management and supporting kitchen efficiency. Responsibilities:

Prepare cook and present a variety of dishes in accordance with standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations equipment and storage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu development and ingredient sourcing ensuring seasonal and cost-effective use of ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques hygiene practices and kitchen protocols.
Adhere to food safety standards and ensure all food handling practices meet local health code requirements.
Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and management to meet service demands during peak hours.
Respond promptly to feedback and adjust cooking methods to maintain consistency and quality.

Requirements

13 years of proven experience in a professional kitchen environment preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques knife skills and food safety practices (HACCP or equivalent certification is a plus).
Proficiency in preparing a diverse range of cuisines with emphasis on speed precision and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and leadership abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends evenings and holidays.
Valid work permit and eligibility to work in the UAE (if applicable).
