Job Purpose

Perform Pressure and Temperature transmitter assembly line daily supervision as per the design documents and standard procedures set by the local modification group. The job requires quality evaluation of the finished product to confirm compliance to design standards and report non-compliance to the Line Manager. Ensure that line Technicians are following the KPI set and take do regular mentoring and correcting sessions for non-performers. Adherence to 5S KANBAN and equipment Preventive-Maintenance (PM) schedule set by the Line Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to perform modification of pressure transmitter by following the procedures as per the QMS and drawings by YHQ D&E.
• Periodically impart training to the Technicians working in the line and qualify and certify their SKILL MATRIX.
• Handle the equipment and machines used for the assembling properly and perform preventive maintenance as per the schedule set by the line manager/supervisor.
• Perform Daily job execution as per Daily Plan. Print YGS sheets & TML System sheets and supervise team to complete the job on time
• Perform Finish good movement in TML System and Production order completion in YGS system.
• During external audits strict compliance to the process and procedures to be demonstrated.
• Always Maintain the shop floor area clean following 5S.
• Proper placement of KANBAN cards and reporting of lost cards and corrective measure to be done effectively.
• Report wrong data entry by upstream process owners and liaise with Manager for corrective and preventive actions.
• Monthly audit the Inventory levels as per ERP system. Report and correct in case of any non-conformities.

Accountabilities

• Responsible for the inventory traceability with the system data.
• All new material receipts uploading of GIR records and compliance to material inward process during audits.
• Timely completion of jobs as per the schedule.
• Periodically update the knowledge by studying the drawing records shared by HQ.
• Daily 5S and Periodic Deep Cleaning of the shop floor by utilizing the helpers to ensure clean work area
• Ensure all line staff are adhering to PPE and Safety guidelines. Any non-conformity should be notified and corrected.

Qualification and Experience

• Industrial Training Institute Certification in Instrumentation or Electronics with minimum 3 years Instrument/electronic assembly line experience.
• High School graduate with 5 years experience in Pressure/Temperature Transmitter assembly lines.
• Good Knowledge of Pressure and temperature transmitters.

Competencies

• Able to Handle electrical and mechanical tools effectively
• Able to read procedures and perform assembly tasks as per the same
• Good knowledge in handling electrical equipment and able to understand the hazards due to its mishandling.

Skills

• Soft skills (MS-Office application Software viz. Word Excel)
• Able to communicate (written and verbal) in English is mandatory.
• Manage production orders using SAP system.
