Job Description
Directly attached to the Marketing & Communication Manager ME you will be responsible for assisting & ensuring the implementation of the marketing strategy and guidelines within the framework of global strategy.
You will be working with many people across all our internal departments (media events social medias sponsoring etc) as well as external parties (printers designers production & event agencies etc..). As such this position requires a high level of initiative incredible people skills clear communication & follow through attention to details positive attitude ability to think & solve issues and understand the brand positioning & strategy business objectives. This role will be crucial to accompany the growth of the brand in the region.
YOUR MISSIONS:
Brand management:
- Assist your manager in developing yearly brand plans for all markets
- Working under approved strategy & budgets follow through the implementation of brand plans and guide our retail partners for their executions
- Manage the brand calendar for each market
- Attend all brand facing meetings capture meeting notes and next steps lead follow-ups with the different internal and external departments and partners
PR:
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the PR agency acting as a key point of contact for operational follow-ups:
- Share press materials and media coverage links with the agency following press releases and key announcements
- Communicate regular updates priorities and guidelines to the agency to ensure alignment
- Follow up with the PR agency on reporting deliverables including: Daily press monitoring Monthly Coverage Ad-hoc post-event reports
- Support Press and influencer seeding gifting and birthday operations (gifting form tracking follow-ups deliveries)
- Coordinate sample loans for photoshoots editorials and celebrity dressing opportunities and ensure on-site support during shoots/events
- Manage and update the press sample and inventory tracking ensuring accuracy and availability at all times
- Conduct media research and competitor benchmarking
Events
- Delivering small to medium scales events from A to Z within provided budget & support for large scale events with the following missions:
- creating the agenda selection of final venue F&B hotel rooms negotiation relationship with retail partners logistics guest list management design of invitation gifts Serve as a brand representative on site as needed Work with retail partners abroad on all event executions overseeing concept development approval in line with your management and perfect execution and reporting.
Reporting monitoring & admin
- Report information on the latest products trends and insights across platforms (social media blog print/digital magazines).
- Assist in prepare important project briefs & post campaign reports
- Continuously research and compile information about competitive new launches advertising and formulas.
- Administrative support
YOUR PROFILE:
- 2-3 years experience with a recognized degree in the field of marketing communication or business
- You enjoy working in multicultural teams and face paced environment.
- Previous experience in event management is a must and in the luxury industry is a plus.
- You have a good understanding of the luxury environment and of the Middle-East culture. You are passionate about new trends in lifestyle arts new technologies and sports.
- You must be fluent in English. French would be appreciated & Arabic (written & spoken) a plus.
- Self-starter you can work effectively in dynamic environment.
- You are energetic self-motivated action and results-oriented thanks to strong organizational skills.
- Open-minded you are also known for your excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You adapt easily to changes and you will bring up new ideas and solutions.
- Problem-solver organizational skills and positive attitude are a MUST.
