Responsible for conducting independent structural inspections and assessments of steel and concrete structures in oil & gas facilities and infrastructure projects to ensure safety compliance and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and detailed inspections of steel and concrete structures including pipe racks platforms and supports.
- Assess structural conditions identify corrosion deformation or fatigue and recommend necessary repairs or strengthening.
- Review design drawings as-built documentation and design calculations as per AISC API ASME BS or Eurocode standards.
- Carry out load assessments and evaluate existing structures for capacity and suitability.
- Coordinate with NDT teams during inspection activities.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and technical documentation for client submission.
- Participate in third-party verification audits and QA/QC reviews during fabrication and site execution.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards during all inspection activities.
Qualifications :
- 5 Years of experience
- Bachelors Structural/ Mechanical Engineering
- Good understanding of structural design and inspection in oil & gas and infrastructures.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Capable of independent work and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
