Job Summary
We are hiring a highly experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to lead our sourcing and procurement operations within the fashion industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies building relationships with suppliers and ensuring the timely delivery of highquality materials and products while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Supplier Management: Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure highquality materials at competitive prices.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor market trends analyze pricing and drive costsaving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all sourced materials meet the brands quality and sustainability standards.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing sustainability policies and industry regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Establish longterm partnerships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends innovations and new sourcing opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Business or a related field.
- Proven experience 15 years) in procurement within the fashion apparel or textile industry.
- Strong negotiation contract management and supplier relationship skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in the fashion industry.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
