Job Summary
Description
Millimans Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional withmore than 6 yearsof experience who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills is committed to obtaining Fellowship and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.
Educational requirements
- An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science mathematics or another major with quantitative course work
- A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization preferably Associate level reached
- Outstanding academic record
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel Powerpoint etc.
Experience and skill requirements
- Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience with at least part of the experience in healthrelated work
- Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability
- Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products
- Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems such as utilisation vs cost clinical coding systems DiagnosisRelated Groupers valuebased healthcare etc
- Client facing experience including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
- Good organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
