Job Summary

A research assistant position is available in the Magzoub lab at NYU Abu Dhabi . The research will focus on developing novel inhibitors of pathogenic protein selfassembly implicated in neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. Alzheimers and Parkinsons diseases).

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an interest in working in the areas of neuroscience and molecular medicine and hold a Bachelor or Master of Science (BSc or MSc) in a relevant field.
The ideal candidate will have experience in neuroscience and/or protein misfolding diseases.
Experience in mammalian cell culture is highly desired.
