Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Landscape for our Dubai location. This fulltime position requires a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience. The role involves managing cost estimation contracts and project management in landscape projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in cost estimation software to accurately predict project costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Extensive experience in contract management to ensure compliance with all terms and leverage negotiation skills.
- Competence in project management coordinating resources and schedules to deliver highstandard results.
- Strong value engineering skills to optimize project efficiency and resource utilization.
- Excellent negotiation abilities to work with contractors and vendors for favorable terms.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for accurate design interpretations and managing project alterations in landscape settings.
- Indepth understanding of landscape features and installation requirements to provide accurate assessments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams using advanced BIM methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the estimation process of landscape projects to ensure cost accuracy and project feasibility.
- Manage contract negotiations and administration safeguarding the companys interests in terms of cost and compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders including architects and contractors for seamless project .
- Implement value engineering principles to enhance the costeffectiveness of the landscaping projects.
- Use project management skills to oversee project timelines resources and quality of landscape construction.
- Prepare detailed reports and present them to stakeholders ensuring transparency and informed decisionmaking.
- Ensure that all design changes and project proposals meet local and international standards and regulations.
- Maintain high levels of client service through prompt and clear communication fulfilling client expectations.
