Role Overview
The role is to lead the QA/QC function across all projects ensuring compliance with quality standards regulatory requirements and client specifications. Drive continuous improvement in quality processes and manage the QA/QC team effectively. This role requires a quality-focused leader who can integrate technology-driven QA/QC processes uphold international standards and foster continuous improvement across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA/QC policies procedures and standards.
- Oversee quality control activities for all projects ensuring adherence to specifications and codes.
- Conduct audits inspections and reviews to maintain quality compliance.
- Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients consultants and regulatory authorities on quality matters.
- Provide training and guidance to QA/QC staff and project teams.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement advanced QA methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other international quality frameworks.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate quality objectives into project execution plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications in QA/QC or ISO standards preferred.
- 20 years of experience in QA/QC within construction including managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards and UAE regulations.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in advanced QA methodologies tools and digital quality management systems.
- Proven experience managing quality for large-scale multi-disciplinary construction projects.
- Ability to lead audits and ensure compliance across multiple sites.
