Job Summary
Own the day-to-day running of company accounts Build and maintain project-level financial forecasts Run monthly management accounts Control cashflow working capital and payment cycles Prepare the company for: External funding & Audits
Requirements
Qualification & Professional Standing (Mandatory) - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA (or international equivalent) Degree in: Finance Accounting Economics or Business with Finance specialism
Come from one of the following sectors (Strong Preference) - Manufacturing Defence / Aerospace Engineering Infrastructure Energy Capital-intensive projects or complex multi-entity groups
Forecasting & Financial Modelling Capability (Critical) - Must demonstrate hands-on ability in project Forecasting Multi-project cashflow forecasts Revenue timing vs delivery milestones Capex vs Opex modelling. Unit economics & margin tracking Debt service & covenant modelling Funding runway projections (1236 months)
Day-to-Day Financial Operations (Must Be Hands-On) - Candidate MUST be comfortable actually running finance not only supervising: Accounts payable & receivable Payroll oversight VAT / GST / Sales tax Month-end closing Bank reconciliations FX exposure tracking Budget vs actual.
Risk Compliance & Governance - Required experience with Audit preparation Financial compliance Internal controls Fraud prevention Contract financial risk analysis Multi-jurisdiction tax exposure (strong advantage)
