Key Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Operations:
- Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure including VMs VNets load balancers Azure AD and storage accounts.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using ARM templates Bicep or Terraform.
- Administer Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery and cost management tools.
- Support Azure DevOps pipelines and assist with CI/CD implementations.
- Configure and monitor Azure Security Center Defender for Cloud and compliance policies.
On-Premises System Operations:
- Maintain Windows and/or Linux servers Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policies.
- Manage virtualization environments (e.g. Hyper-V or VMware).
- Support on-prem backup solutions patching and routine maintenance tasks.
Job Description:
CloudOps / SysOps Engineer (Azure & On-Prem)
- Troubleshoot hardware storage and network issues as needed.
General Responsibilities:
- Automate routine system tasks using PowerShell Bash or Python.
- Ensure proper monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor SCOM or third-party platforms.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning testing and execution.
- Respond to incidents root cause analysis and documentation of operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development security and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and secure environments.
