Job Summary

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. This role is vital in ensuring that all supplies and equipment are efficiently stored maintained and distributed within our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Organize and store medical supplies and equipment in designated warehouse locations.
Prepare and package orders for dispatch ensuring accuracy and compliance with handling protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment to meet health and safety standards.
Assist with regular inventory counts and report discrepancies promptly.
Operate warehouse equipment safely including forklifts and pallet jacks if certified.
Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to support timely supply chain operations.
Adhere to all hospital and healthcare regulations concerning storage and handling of medical materials.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferably within healthcare or a related industry.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and follow workplace safety protocols.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work shifts as required by hospital operations.
