Your Mission

As Telecom / SCADA Design Review Engineer in our Energy Business Area you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance quality and technical excellence in telecom and SCADA systems for high-voltage substation projects (132kV 220kV & 400kV). You will contribute to our mission by supporting design reviews technical evaluations and site inspections for projects that shape the future of energy infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review feasibility reports and project parameters for Telecom/Optical Fiber/SCMS systems.
  • Prepare requisitions and conduct technical evaluations for material and equipment procurement.
  • Review and approve design documents related to SCMS Telecom and Cyber Security systems.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and technical workshops.
  • Inspect and certify SCMS telecommunication equipment fiber optic cables and accessories.
  • Attend site visits to ensure compliance with standards for ongoing substation projects.
  • Participate in FAT SAT and commissioning activities.
  • Provide technical recommendations during pre- and post-tender clarifications.

We would love to hear from people with

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  • 1015 years of experience in consultancy or EPC roles in the energy sector.
  • Expertise in Transmission/Distribution Automation SCMS Telecom Optical Fiber and Security systems.
  • Experience with substation projects at 132kV 220kV & 400kV levels.
  • Knowledge of standards: TRANSCO OETC ADDC SEC KSA Grid Codes IEC IEEE and international guidelines.
