Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests courteously upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Present menus inform guests of daily specials and introduce the server responsible for their table.
Manage and update restaurant reservations and waiting lists efficiently.
Answer phone calls professionally handle inquiries and record reservations accurately.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure tables are prepared and available as per booking schedules.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times reflecting the hotels hospitality standards.
Assist in monitoring the dining room flow to optimize seating and minimize guest wait times.
Handle guest complaints or feedback courteously referring issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess desk entrance area and menus.
Ensure guest preferences and special requests are communicated to the service and kitchen teams.
Support special events theme nights or group bookings as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Hotel Management diploma preferred).
1 years of experience as a hostess or in guest service within a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and pleasant personality.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Good knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays.
