DescriptionApt Resources is looking for an experienced IT Manager / IT Administrator to lead our clients IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems and services within our organization in .
This role will be responsible for Wi-Fi email hardware CRM domains hosting and data security while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations in Business Bay Dubai UAE .
Responsibilities:
1. Wi-Fi Management
- Regularly review and update Wi-Fi security protocols.
- Change network passwords as required.
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity (Monthly/Quarterly).
2. Email Management
- Create and configure new employee email accounts.
- Provide setup instructions for approved devices.
- Manage standardized company email signatures (Ongoing/As needed).
3. Laptop & Device Configuration
- Set up and configure laptops and devices in line with company policy.
- Install and maintain company-approved software.
- Manage user access rights to prevent unauthorized admin privileges.
- Ensure all devices have active antivirus and encryption enabled.
4. Domain & Hosting Management
- Renew domain registrations annually.
- Manage DNS configurations and hosting provider services.
- Oversee hosting operations to ensure uptime performance and security.
5. CRM & Application Management
- Create and update CRM user accounts and permissions.
- Manage role-based access and review permissions (Monthly/As needed).
- Monitor CRM data integrity and security.
- Oversee CRM automation and process configuration.
- Manage company applications and user accounts.
- Basic programming knowledge preferred: PHP JavaScript/jQuery Smarty/HTML Linux MySQL.
6. Security Audits & Risk Management
- Conduct quarterly IT security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Implement corrective measures and report findings to management.
7. Hardware & Infrastructure Maintenance
- Perform regular maintenance on company hardware servers and networking equipment.
- Ensure CCTV and surveillance systems are operational.
- Configure and maintain Smart screens in meeting rooms.
8. Data Backup & Recovery
- Perform daily backups of critical company data.
- Test recovery procedures quarterly.
- Ensure compliance with company backup and disaster recovery policies.
Routine Activities
Daily:
- Respond to employee IT support requests.
- Verify successful completion of system backups.
Weekly:
- Review and close outstanding IT support issues.
- Update IT asset and inventory records.
Monthly:
- Review Wi-Fi security and monitor traffic.
- Audit CRM user permissions.
- Apply system and application updates and patches.
Quarterly:
- Conduct comprehensive IT security audits.
- Test disaster recovery and backup restoration procedures.
- Review and refine CRM configurations and processes.
Annually:
- Renew company domain registrations.
- Conduct comprehensive hardware maintenance.
- Evaluate hosting provider performance and contracts.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or IT Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Windows/Mac Office 365/Google Workspace MySQL PHP Linux basics.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM management DNS hosting and backup solutions.
- Proficient in IT service management tools and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL Cisco Microsoft) are a plus.
