This role involves setting and executing the business units strategic objectives managing a team and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business unit strategy aligned with the organizations overall goals and objectives.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the business unit including budgeting forecasting and achieving revenue and profit targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of managers and professionals fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the teams productivity and development.
- Product and Service Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of financial products and services offered by the business unit ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate operational financial and compliance risks within the business unit.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure the business unit complies with all industry regulations policies and procedures and stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the BFSI sector.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders addressing their needs and concerns.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the business units performance regularly reporting to senior management.
- Technology Adoption: Stay current with technological advancements in the BFSI sector and assess their relevance to the business units operations.
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in finance Business Administration or a related field
Experience
10 years in the BFSI sector with a track record of leadership and resultsĀ
