Job Summary:
As a MIG Welder you will be responsible for welding metal components using the Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding process. You will work with fabrication teams to build and repair metal structures ensuring precision durability and compliance with engineering drawings and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding operations on mild steel stainless steel and aluminum materials.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints welding symbols and job specifications.
Prepare materials and work surfaces by cleaning grinding and fitting metal parts.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure alignment and structural integrity.
Maintain proper documentation of welding activities and material usage.
Ensure adherence to all safety and quality control procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 23 years of MIG welding experience in industrial or construction settings.
Ability to read fabrication drawings and work independently.
Familiarity with gas flow voltage and wire speed adjustment.
Good knowledge of welding safety and PPE usage.
Must pass a trade test before selection
