Job Summary
The Welder will be responsible for cutting joining and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques. The role requires accuracy adherence to safety standards and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings to deliver high-quality welds.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding operations using appropriate techniques such as ARC MIG TIG or Gas welding
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work specifications
Cut grind and prepare metal surfaces before welding
Inspect welded joints for quality strength and accuracy
Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment as required
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and workplace regulations
Operate welding tools power tools and related equipment safely
Maintain welding equipment in good working condition
Meet production timelines and quality standards
Coordinate with supervisors and team members for smooth operations
Essential Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Welding or a related trade preferred
Minimum 13 years of relevant welding experience
Experience in construction fabrication or industrial projects preferred
Overseas / Gulf experience is an added advantage
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and procedures
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
