Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and decisive Project Director - Site to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As the Project Director you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage multiple complex construction projects simultaneously overseeing all aspects of project execution on site.
- Develop and implement project strategies plans and schedules to meet client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Manage project budgets forecast costs and optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors suppliers and other project partners.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and environmental standards
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain the highest standards of construction
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 20 years of experience in construction supervision project management with a proven track record of successful large-scale project delivery with contracts experience (Experienced practicing Engineer under the Contract role).
- Extensive experience working in the Middle East construction industry particularly in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
- Expertise in project management methodologies tools and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and optimize resource allocation
- Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder management
- Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
