RoyalJet a world-class leader in premium private aviation is expanding its Quality & Safety team! We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-driven Auditor QA / SMS Auditor (Ops) who will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of safety regulatory compliance and operational excellence across our airline functions.
Job Description :
To conduct operational audits across airline departments ensuring compliance with regulatory safety and quality standards. The role also supports the implementation and monitoring of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Health Safety & Environment (HSE) programs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan execute and report on internal audits in line with the approved audit schedule.
- Evaluate operational compliance with aviation regulations company policies and international standards.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions to improve operational safety and quality.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the SMS framework.
- Conduct HSE inspections and risk assessments across operational areas.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance indicators and compliance.
- Liaise with department heads to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Maintain audit records and contribute to the preparation of audit dashboards and reports.
- Assist in preparing for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Aviation Engineering Safety or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in aviation quality assurance or operational auditing.
- Proven experience in HSE roles; HSE certification or approval (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH) is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of ICAO SMS principles and implementation.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g. GCAA EASA ICAO).
- Experience with audit management systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive and safety-oriented mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience in a similar role within an airline or aviation organization.
- Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
- Knowledge of flight operations ground handling or maintenance processes.
