Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Jr. Planning Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Planning Engineer you will play a crucial role in supporting project planning and scheduling activities for our Construction Bridge projects (Concrete Bridge).
- Preparing developing and maintaining project schedules using specialized primavera P6 software
- Preparing Extension of Time in several techniques.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather and analyze project data
- Help create and update project timelines Gantt charts and other planning documents
- Support resource allocation and optimization efforts for ongoing projects
- Participate in progress meetings and contribute to project status reports
- Assist in identifying potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions
- Help monitor project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies
- Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering Construction Management or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in planning or engineering roles; internship or entry-level experience in construction or engineering projects is acceptable
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 ETC
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with construction processes methodologies and industry standards
- Understanding of project scheduling techniques and resource allocation principles
- Basic knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
