- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping staff including attendants reliever arrangements etc.
- Provide guidance training and support to ensure the team performs at optimal levels.
- Schedule and organize work assignments ensuring efficient coverage and timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect the buildings common areas public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment including requisitions for restocking.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Train staff on proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents.
- Control costs by optimizing staffing levels monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on housekeeping performance including cleanliness scores staff productivity and any relevant issues.
- Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
- Participate in tender/bidding for estimations and costing.
- Address maintenance issues and report to the maintenance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities are maintained to high standards
Qualifications :
- Candidate must be a graduate engineer.
- Min. 3-5 yrs. experience in Facilities Management in the UAE
Additional Information :
- Possesses advanced MS Office skills particularly in Word spreadsheets and databases.
- Exposure to CAFM Systems.
- BICS Certifications- Preferred
