Summary
We re looking for a Speech Language Therapist/Physiologist for one of our leading medical center in Abu Dhabi. You will be an integral part of the healthcare team focusing on the assessment diagnosis and treatment of speech language and communication disorders. Your role is crucial in helping patients improve their communication abilities and overall quality of life. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals you will develop personalized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions to support patient progress and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech language and communication disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensures as a Speech Language Therapist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferably in speech-language therapy.
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills in speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to patient care and continuous professional development.
