Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Waiter / Waitress in the vibrant city of Dubai United Arab Emirates! We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders utilizing upselling techniques when appropriate
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently ensuring proper presentation and timing
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items daily specials and beverage offerings
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process orders and payments accurately
- Prepare dining areas including setting tables and ensuring cleanliness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout shifts
Qualifications :
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service
- Fluent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Fun energetic and friendly personality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent memory and ability to recall menu items and guest preferences
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and splitting checks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene
Additional Information :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar role
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in English additional languages are a plus
