Job Description
Apt Resources is proud to represent a luxurious resort located along the breathtaking Red Sea currently seeking a qualified Engineering Supervisor to lead their technical team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the resorts engineering operations run smoothly maintaining the highest standards of excellence in a picturesque setting. As the Engineering Supervisor you will oversee maintenance tasks lead a team of engineers and guarantee that all facilities are in optimal condition for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all engineering maintenance activities within the resort
- Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical and electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency
- Lead and train a team of engineers and technicians on best practices and safety standards
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Manage the budget and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Prepare reports on the performance of engineering operations and propose improvements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry ideally in a luxury resort setting
- Strong knowledge of hotel engineering and maintenance standards
- Proficiency in electrical mechanical and HVAC systems
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems is preferred
