Job Summary
What you will do
The Technical Maintenance Assistant will be reporting directly to the Field Line Manager HVAC Aftermarket. As part of the HVAC Aftermarket team you will be based in Abu Dhabi and will assist the Technical team in the installation servicing repair and preventative maintenance of refrigeration systems and equipment including Centrifugal chillers cooling towers pumps and heat exchangers.
How you will do it
As a Technical Maintenance Assistant you will focus on maintenance and repair within set timeframes and according to defined processes service agreements and customer needs. You will conduct planned site/customer visits and resolve customer requests/calls as dispatched. You will develop positive customer relationships ensuring proactive feedback and documentation of the customers equipment and systems status and work completed.
What we look for
Required
- Good product knowledge and overall system understanding
- Minimum 3 years experience
- High school education with a 2year Air Conditioning and refrigeration trade certificate
- Knowledge in servicing and maintenance of cooling towers pumps and heat exchangers
- Technical knowledge of HVAC systems particularly Chillers brazing vacuum and pressure testing
- Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems
- Document work completed clearly and concisely and promptly submit service reports
- Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations where required
- In addition to the abovementioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be defined individually
- Fluent language skills in English
