Job Description
Das Field Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site surveys and RF testing to assess DAS requirements.
- Install configure and commission DAS infrastructure including antennas fiber optics and remote units.
- Conduct signal validation interference analysis and system optimization.
- Identify and resolve network issues related to DAS performance.
- Work closely with telecom operators vendors and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide reports on site work and troubleshooting activities.
- Adhere to safety standards and telecom regulations during field operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or related field.
- Experience in DAS installations RF measurements and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in DAS testing tools (e.g. spectrum analyzers site master iBwave).
- Understanding of telecom network architecture fiber optics and wireless communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in field environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in DAS technology or RF Engineering (e.g. iBwave Level 1 & 2).
- Experience with DAS deployments in commercial enterprise or public-sector projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
