Job Summary

Quality:

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with brand and LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards across guestfacing areas.
  • Conduct service audits mystery guest checklists and room inspections alongside the Quality Manager.
  • Support with compiling and analysing guest satisfaction data (e.g. TrustYou).
  • Support in tracking departmental Key Performance Indicators and preparing regular quality reports.
  • Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to team meetings.
  • Assist in organizing quality and service excellence initiatives across the property.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing audit reports updating training logs and maintaining checklists

Food Safety:

  • Assist Food Safety Manager in conducting/organizing Food Safety programs and activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food handling in production areas facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Daily monitoring food safety and hygiene practices among food handlers.
  • Supervising cleaning sanitization and pest control systems for the Hotel.
  • Assist with reporting: monthly food safety inspections and corrective actions implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of food safety programs.
  • Responsible for the updating of the food watch platform. 

Other Duties:            

  • Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag. 
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department appearance standards. 
  • Provide friendly courteous and professional service at all times.    
  • Read and understand the hotels Ambassador Handbook and adhere to the hotels rules and regulations particularly the policies and procedures relating to Fire Hygiene Health and Safety. 
  • Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues.
  • Comply with local legislation as required. 
  • Respond to any changes in the department as communicated by the needs of the hotel. 
  • Flexible in job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the jobs capabilities as assigned including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required to meet business demands and guest service needs. 
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required. 

Qualifications :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for excellence.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Graduate/ Post Graduate in Microbiology/ Food Technology a plus
  • Basic HACCP knowledge
