Job description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Intern to join our healthcare team. This internship offers hands-on experience in patient care and hospital procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. It is an excellent opportunity for nursing students or recent graduates to apply academic knowledge in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) in providing patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Help with daily patient activities such as bathing dressing feeding and mobility.
- Prepare and organize medical supplies and equipment.
- Observe and document patient conditions and behaviors.
- Assist in administering medications under supervision (as per policy and scope).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the patient care areas.
- Follow hospital protocols patient confidentiality and infection control standards.
- Participate in educational sessions and on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Nursing Program (Diploma/BSN).
- Basic understanding of nursing principles and patient care.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of empathy responsibility and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced clinical environmen
