You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical work and installations comply with quality standards client specifications and applicable codes and regulations. This role involves the inspection testing documentation and reporting of electrical systems as well as coordination with project stakeholders to resolve quality issues and ensure timely completion of work.
Inspect and monitor electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications standards (e.g. IEC NEC) and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve electrical materials drawings and submittals.
Conduct site inspections and prepare QA/QC reports including non-conformance reports (NCR) corrective/preventive actions.
Witness and verify electrical testing activities such as insulation resistance continuity loop checks and function tests.
Review and verify testing and commissioning reports and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure all quality records related to electrical works are properly maintained and submitted to the QA/QC department.
Coordinate with project engineers contractors and consultants to resolve technical and quality issues.
Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for electrical works preferably in construction / oil & gas / power sector.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) is an advantage.
Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC NEC IEEE).
Proficient in MS Office AutoCAD and QA/QC reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
NEBOSH / OSHA (for safety awareness)
Certified Electrical Engineer (local license if required)
Membership in a recognized engineering body (e.g. IEEE IEI)
May require working at construction or project sites.
Will involve field inspections audits and coordination meetings.
Flexible to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
