Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a company providing a comprehensive range of architecture products in the UAE. Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance and supporting the company s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR GL reconciliations etc.) in compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records reports and statements.
- Process invoices payments and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar) for financial data management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
- Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field from a reputed university.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in an MNC environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Oracle or similar ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles financial reporting and taxation.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Professional certification (e.g. CA ACCA CMA or CPA) is a plus.
- Experience with VAT and UAE financial regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUP financial modeling).
