Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
Prepare and package items for shipment ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases using ERP or warehouse systems.
Organize and store materials in designated locations following safety and organizational guidelines.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods using forklifts pallet jacks or other equipment.
Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal departments to meet delivery timelines.
Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
Comply with health safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
12 years of experience in a warehouse logistics or shipping/receiving role.
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software or ERP systems preferred.
Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced physical environment.
Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation (domestic and international).
Knowledge of hazardous material handling (if applicable).
Experience with lean logistics or continuous improvement initiatives.
