Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented FitOut Estimator with experience in mall interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for interior fitout works across retail units food courts common areas and entertainment zones within shopping malls. The role requires strong analytical skills market knowledge and the ability to interpret design documentation to forecast project costs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs based on design drawings and specifications for mall interior design projects.
- Evaluate architectural MEP and ID drawings to quantify materials labor and equipment required for fitout works.
- Coordinate with designers consultants and mall authorities to ensure estimates comply with mall fitout guidelines and technical requirements.
- Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors with a focus on highend retail finishes glass partitions signage joinery and lighting.
- Ensure cost plans reflect all functional and aesthetic design elements including feature ceilings custom furniture flooring wall treatments and service integration.
- Maintain uptodate pricing databases and supplier relationships relevant to mall interior finishes and materials.
- Participate in tender submissions including cost breakdowns clarifications and postbid negotiations with mall developers or management.
- Analyze and evaluate variations or design changes during project execution and prepare revised estimates accordingly.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure cost control is maintained throughout project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and attend pretender or postaward meetings as necessary.
